Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 housemates Kai Montinola and Kolette Madelo showed their support for fellow housemate Jarren Garcia at his debut album launch and fan meeting event held at SM North Edsa Skydome in Quezon City.

During the event, Kai and Kolette delivered special performances, with Kai singing Alicia Keys’ “If I Ain’t Got You” and Kolette performing Ariana Grande’s “We Can’t Be Friends.”

Expressing her pride and admiration, Kai shared how emotional she felt witnessing Jarren achieve his dream of becoming an artist.

“I would like to congratulate you, Jarren. I was in the backstage kanina and nakita ko si Tita Jho, umiiyak. Sabi ko naiiyak din ako kasi, you know, we were once housemates inside sa bahay ni Kuya, ” Kai expressed. “You are not just a friend to me; you are family to me, Jarren.”

Reflecting on their journey together, Kai grew emotional seeing Jarren perform onstage for his debut album.

“I really see you doing whatever this is now, I’m so proud of you. I’m really proud of you. Congratulations. Nakatira lang tayo sa bahay ni Kuya and now you are performing here solo,” Kai said.

“Naiiyak ako right now kasi I’m so proud of him,” she added.

Touched by Kai’s words, Jarren promised to support her when the time comes for her own album launch.

“When it gets to the time when Kai releases an album, when she has an album launch, we will all be here to support her too. Thank you, Kai!” Jarren remarked.

Meanwhile, Kolette also expressed her happiness at seeing one of her closest friends from the Big Brother house living his dream.

“Alam mo naman na nasa loob pa tayo ng bahay ni Kuya, alam mo na ‘yung mga gusto nating marating sa kanya-kanyang individual na pangarap,” Kolette said.

She went on: “Happy ako kasi dati pangarap mo lang na makakanta sa mga ganito, magka-concert, and then look at you now. Nandito ka na at kinakanta mo na ‘yung mga kanta mo sa mga people at nagustuhan nila.”

Kolette also extended her support and promised to invite Jarren when she holds her own album launch.

“Sa susunod kapag ako nagkaganito, i-guest kita,” she remarked.

Jarren fondly reminisced about his time with Kolette inside the house, where they created a dance trend together, never imagining that one day they would be performing in front of their fans.

“From just being housemates, making a dance that became a trend, we have no idea na we would be here,” Jarren said. “It’s crazy how we are here now but thank you so much, Kolette. I'm always gonna be supporting you because she’s such a great support too and she came out here to perform for all of you.”

Jarren’s self-titled debut album was released on Friday, January 7, under StarPop. It features eight tracks including “Make It, Make It Sense,” “Impulsive,” “Pardon My Pace,” “Never Go Away,” “Future,” “Without Warning,” and “Hits Different.” It also has “Gimme, Gimme, Gimme,” a song he co-wrote.

Aside from Kai and Kolette, other Pinoy Big Brother Gen 11 housematwere also in attendance, such as Jas Scales, Dylan Ytturalde, Marc Nanninga, JP Cabrera, Binsoy Namoca, Kanata Tapia, Gwen Montano, Joli Alferez, Jan Silva, and Therese Villamor.
