Did you know that it wasn’t really the first time BINI performed in Ciudad de Victoria?

Before their highly successful sold-out concert at the Philippine Arena on February 15, BINI performed at the Philippine Stadium in Ciudad de Victoria three years earlier. In April 2022, they were part of the Summer Blast event held at the venue.

BINI’s leader, Jhoanna, reminisced about that moment during the kick-off of the BINIverse World Tour.

“Actually, nakapag-perform na kami dito sa kabila nito, ‘yung Philippine Sports Stadium, ‘di ba? Nakapag-perform kami doon,” Jhoanna mentioned.

She added that, from their experience then, they are humbled by how far they have come now.

“Noong nag-perform kami, maraming pumapalakpak. Pero, hindi nila alam ‘yung mga kanta natin, hindi nila alam kung sino tayo. Pero ngayon, ‘di ba, lahat to, Blooms, napuno natin ng Philippine Arena. Grabe,” Jhoanna said.

But it’s not just the heartwarming story of that sold-out night. Jhoanna also revealed another story about an edited photo that helped “manifest” their dream of performing at the world’s largest indoor arena.

“Meron kasi akong nasabi sa interview before na merong in-edit si Miss MQ Mallari, our manager, na ever since, eto yung wallpaper niya, in-edit niya ‘yung group photo natin. Until now. Until now, ha? Until now. In-edit niya ‘yung group photo natin, tapos kumuha lang siya ng random picture ng audience sa likod,” Jhoanna shared.

That very same photo might already be familiar to the Blooms, BINI’s fandom. In 2020, BINI’s main dancer Sheena posted the photo on X (formerly known as Twitter).

“Hard work and determination will get you where you want to go. Walo hanggang dulo, mahal ko kayo,” she captioned.

As the photo flashed on the huge screen, the girls shared the story behind their outfits. They revealed that they didn’t have stylists at the time and had to borrow clothes.

“Trivia time: Alam niyo ba na lahat ng damit namin dyan eh hiram lang kay Miss Kring at sa wife ni Coach Mickey na si Miss Gee-Ann. Wala pa kaming damit eh. Wala pa kaming stylist kaya kami lang nag-ayos sa sarili namin,” Maloi revealed.

Aiah took a moment to thank everyone who has been part of their journey from day one.

“Even before pa, ang dami na talagang tumulong sa atin out of passion and love. And because of that, we are truly grateful for everyone, to everyone,” she mentioned.

Mikha shared that they’ve always dreamed of bringing that edited photo to life.

“After that pictorial, in-edit kami with that background. We have always dreamt that one day maging totoo ang picture na yan. And today is that day, right?” Mikha added.

Stacey agreed by saying, “That's the power of believing in your dreams and in God's perfect time.”

BINI then proceeded to recreate the edited photo, capturing the same exact positions and poses, making it a reality.

As the emotional moment ended, the Nation’s Girl Group made sure to dedicate the special moment to their supporters.

“At dahil malapit na tayo matapos, can we just take this time para pa-thank you-han ‘yung Blooms natin? All for the Blooms lang, itong moment na ‘to. Blooms, thank you,” Jhoanna expressed.

BINI made history as the first-ever Filipino act to hold a sold-out concert at the Philippine Arena through their BINIverse World Tour. The tour will continue internationally in the coming months, with stops in Dubai, London, and New York.
