Among all the Filipino acts, P-pop group BILIB and singer Zela were chosen to be part of the 2025 Waterbomb Festival this February.

The group’s members Zio, JMac, RC, Clyde, Carlo, Rafael and their leader Yukito were surprised to receive the good news from their management team.

“Nung binalita po sa amin ng management, sobrang gulat na gulat po kami. Napaka-imposible po, parang surreal po pangarap po namin to be on a big stage as a P-pop group,” said Yukito.

He added, “Big achievement hindi lang po para sa amin kung 'di pati sa buong P-pop community. Nakaka-proud din po, saka nakakahumble din po to be representing (the country).”

As to what to expect from their set, the group’s main vocalist Rafael said, “For sure, ipe-perform po namin 'yung bago naming single na ‘Kabanata’, pati 'yung comeback single namin na ‘Say what you want to say’, at siyempre hindi mawawala ang pasabog ng BILIB.”

Meanwhile, as early as now, solo act Zela is already feeling the pressure of performing for the festival.

“I’m gonna lie if I say no (pressure). Ngayon po sobrang pressure sa amin, kinakabahan but more excited po kasi festival yun, I love festivals.”

Zela plans to sing her debut and latest singles and she’s already having the mindset to enjoy and hype a huge crowd.

“I love hyping the crowd. It’s really part of my performance, I love performing and I’m very shy off-cam, but like when I’m onstage, I turn into a different person.”

She added, “This one is really different. Hindi ko pa siya natry, sobrang saya niya and you know summer is coming.”
