Don't stress about finding luck this Chinese New Year. A Feng Shui expert shared a simple guide to attract good fortune as we welcome the Year of the Wood Snake on January 29.

In an episode of the TFC talk show BRGY, Feng Shui expert Joy Lim shared with host Bianca Gonzalez that while 2025 holds potential to become a prosperous year, it comes with some important cautions to keep in mind.

“2025 will actually be a good year financially, but it's very sad to say that, for everyone, not just in the Philippines, we must take extra care of our health,” Joy warned.

She continued: “This year okay naman ang kaperahan, pero marami ring pwedeng hindi magandang mangyari sa buhay, lalo na pagdating sa mga natural disasters. ‘Yun ang pinaka-ingatan natin.”

Joy shared that for those looking to attract luck, any form of jade gemstone is a must-have.

The Feng Shui expert added that those who don’t have jade items shouldn’t worry, as there are simple alternatives, like jewelry, that might already bring good energy.

“For this year, kulang tayo sa metal, so it's very, very good to have jewelry with you. It’s a source of wealth,” she shared.

As for lucky numbers, Joy shared that the number 8 will bring good luck.

“Kunwari, you're working hard but there's no progress, no growth, no promotion—eight is very powerful when it comes to changing that,” she added.

However, the geomancy expert also emphasized that Feng Shui is not just about possessing lucky items.

“We have kasi sa Feng Shui, may calculation tayo, so it's not just you simply buy stuff and then bring it home. Eh, di sana lahat na lang mayaman. But, you know, it's about practicing the right Feng Shui,” Joy explained.
