Comedy Manila has stepped into a new venture with the launch of their official homebase!

Meet Brick Wall Comedy Club, a premier venue that delivers a curated comedy experience for folks who are looking for a bone-ticking alternative to the usual nightlife spots in the Metro.

The comedy club, which serves as the home of Comedy Manila in BGC, has been reimagined to create an intimate space and place for laughter and premium entertainment. The relaunch includes an subtle update in interior design with better seating arrangement, improved acoustics, and lighting to create an optimal viewing and listening experience.

Audiences can also expect an elevated experience and ambiance that blends modern design with an inviting atmosphere.

“Brick Wall’s partnership with Comedy Manila ensures a lineup that’s consistently fresh, diverse and entertaining, bringing together years of expertise in producing quality comedy shows,” shares Jayson Mercado, one of the bar owners. “This collaboration also includes, open mic opportunities, and local and international headliners, making Brick Wall a hub for comedic excellence.”

Patrons and newcomers can look forward to a diverse lineup, including observational humor, storytelling, and improv, performed by both local and international comedians. 

During its official launch, Brick Wall Comedy Club treated the audience and media guests to a headlining performance by award-winning Filipino standup comedian Rex Navarrete, who brought the house down with his compelling skits that cut across generations. 

Comedy Manila also performed a standup piece much to the delight of the crowd. A production house who has made a name for themselves—thanks to their distinct brand of comedy and humor—the Filipino group takes the lead in curating a diverse and high-quality lineup for Brick Wall. Their extensive network of comedians ensures a rotating roster of acts, from established names to rising stars. This collaboration guarantees fresh, engaging, and top-tier comedy every week.

As for the brand of comedy that you can expect, Navarrete wishes for "Comedy that's dangerous, comedy that makes people think."

In addition to the stand-up comedy programming, Brick Wall Comedy Club will be hosting improv nights, comedy-themed trivia, live podcast recordings, acoustic and musical events, diversifying their offering with multi-formatted showcases that bring comedy fans and other folks together in one amazing venue.

And if that’s not enough to tickle your fancy, Brick Wall combines bold flavors and creativity, making it a perfect match for the lively comedy vibe. 

“Brick Wall’s dishes are mostly fusion and comfort food, signature dishes and themed cocktails named, Heckler, Impression, KoolPals related to terms used in stand-up comedy,” explains Mercado. ”The menu features a mix of premium pub-style and comfort food dishes, including sandwiches, pastas, rice meals, wings, and sweet potato nachos, paired with a variety of local/premium beers, signature cocktails, and fine spirits. Bang Bang shrimp, Country-style porkchop, and Baby Back ribs."

Brick Wall is located at BGC in Taguig and is open seven days a week:

            •           Sunday to Monday: 4:00 PM – 5:00 AM

            •           Tuesday to Saturday: 4:00 PM – 2:00 PM
