<p>Kapuso actress and former beauty queen Megan Young proudly showed off the hard work that she’s been doing to get back to her fit body a year after giving birth. Ever since I got cleared by my OB @mae_sexy_young (the best ever btw 🫶🏻) to workout after giving birth, I’ve been slowly getting into my groove,” she wrote.</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/celebrities/2025/2/20/megan-young-mikael-daez-go-on-a-babymoon-1421"><strong>LOOK: Megan Young, Mikael Daez go on a babymoon</strong></a></div><div><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust:100%">In the Instagram Reel she shared, Megan showed off her physique and compared it to when she just started her fitness journey a month after giving birth. She recalled the various exercises she did in the first few months, which she had to stop suddenly due to contracting the dengue virus. </span></div><p>“Months 1-4 I was doing light walking, eventually lifting weights again but still wasn’t at the point that I wanted to be. I was still 25lbs over my pre pregnancy weight. In total, I gained 50 lbs during my pregnancy,” she recalled.</p><p>It was after she fully recovered from her sickness was she again able to lift heavier weights and work on her diastasis recti. Megan shared how helpful her coaches have been in making sure she got the right guidance on her fitness journey.</p><p>The former Miss World winner credited her latest coach for creating a program not just for her but also for Mikael.</p><p>“She’s been coaching both Fofo and I since then and I have never felt better. We’ve been working HARD for the past two months. Work out kahit nakabakasyon, tracking my food intake every single day. It has been so worth it. Netizens have expressed in the comment section how inspirational Megan is for their own fitness journey.</p><p>“Beautiful and STROOOOOOONG,” Anne Curtis expressed.</p><p>“Going through the same thing 🥹 9 months PP now. Thank you for posting this mama 🙏🏼💪🏼 what an inspiration,” a friend wrote. </p><p>Meanwhile, Megan also debunked one of the comments made by the netizens about her using GLP-1 (Glucagon-like peptide-1), a product which mimics the hormone to promote weight loss and lower blood sugar, among others.</p><p>“Glp1 yan for sure 😂” a netizen claimed.</p><p>“Nope,” Megan assured. </p><p>Megan previously announced her pregnancy back in December 2024 through a playful video inspired by the popular video game Super Mario Bros. Since then, the celebrity mom has been giving updates to her followers about their life as a family. </p>
