Iza Calzado, husband Ben Wintle debut podcast channel ‘Between Us’

<p>Actress Iza Calzado and her husband, tech entrepreneur Ben Wintle, are embarking on a new project together with the launch of their podcast channel, <em>Between Us</em>.</p><p>In a video shared on their joint Instagram account, the couple revealed that starting their own podcast has been a longtime dream of theirs.</p><p>“This is where we begin! That was a missed opportunity because a lot of people did not do podcasts then,” Iza said. “I&#x27;ve always wanted to do talk shows. I wanted to be an Oprah of the Philippines then everybody is doing it so I felt shy and I felt like maybe there&#x27;s no more space for me. I just thought that if I gonna do this, I want to do it with you (Ben).”</p><p>Now that her dream has come to life, this time with Ben by her side, Iza said the podcast will also serve as an avenue for them to learn and grow together.</p><p>“I think it will be helpful for us to learn from people, learn from each other along the way, and discover new things. We want to learn from these people. The other big thing I know why we are doing this is because at home, we seldom have time and space to talk to each other,” Ben expressed.</p><p>Iza echoed the sentiment, saying, “We are carving out time to connect and ironically it has to be public. When we are at home,, I will be with Deia or doing something and then he will be doing something, he is still working. We don&#x27;t really get to have a proper conversation or catch up.”</p><p>As they navigate their journey as newbie podcasters, the couple welcomed their friend, Bianca Gonzalez, as their first guest for <em>Between Us</em>. In the episode, the <em>Pinoy Big Brother </em>host spoke about her own podcast journey as the person behind <em>Paano Ba &#x27;To? </em>and the importance of staying consistent while using the platform to inspire and guide listeners.</p>
