Jopay Paguia reveals how religion helped her join SexBomb Girls once again: ‘Pinagpray ko yun’

<p>Actress and singer Jopay Paguia revealed that she once hesitated about joining the SexBomb Girls once more due to her religious beliefs. Una, umalis, pero bumalik. Tapos, nung last, nung na engage ako, umalis ulit ako,” she recalled.</p><div><br/></div><p>When she left the group for the second time, she was involved in her religion’s church service and she thought it was her calling. A year after she left the group, she prayed that she made the right decision. </p><div><br/></div><p>“Nainvolve kasi ako sa church parang ang calling ko noon is mag serve sa church talaga. Pero nung time na yun, siguro naka isang taon din ako na wala sa grupo pero pinagpray ko siya. Siyempre, ang pagsasayaw, hindi pala pare parehas yan sa church–– hindi porke’t dancer ka, mananayaw ka, ijujudge ka,” she explained.</p><div><br/></div><p>“Doon ko naintindihan yun na yung iba thinking nila, madumi, masama yung ginagawa mo. Malaswa kasi nagsusuot ka ng maikli pero nung time ko sa church, kasi parang may agam-agam sa puso ko na umalis ako pero dun talaga ako nag umpisa eh. Isa lang ang sinabi sa akin: &#x27;Ano ba ang una mong naging trabaho? Anong unang natutunan? Binigyan ka ni Lord ng talent, ano ba binigay sa&#x27;yo? Kumanta at sumayaw. Nasa sa&#x27;yo nalang yan kung paano mo siya gagamitin,&#x27;” she narrated.</p><div><br/></div><p>Jopay added that she asked God for a sign if she was making the right decision to join the group again. Despite having many signs being shown to her, there was one that made her decide it was destined for her to come back: children dancing to their hit song, &quot;The Spageti Song.&quot; </p><div><br/></div><p>“Pinag pray ko yun. Sabi ko kay Lord bigyan mo ako ng sign kung babalik ako sa grupo ko. So marami na talagang sign pero gusto ko yung talagang solid. Binigyan niya ako ng sign na talagang pumukaw talagang sa akin,” she said.</p><div><br/></div><p>Since then, Jopay returned to the girl group and has continued to be a SexBomb Girls member. </p>
