Ruffa Gutierrez and family thankful for successful surgery of father Eddie in Singapore

<p>Kapamilya actress Ruffa Gutierrez and her family expressed their gratitude for the people behind the successful surgery of the Gutierrez patriarch, Eddie, earlier this week. His urologist, Dr. Sam Peh Oon Hui, was the one who spearheaded the procedure in Singapore.</p><div><br/></div><p>Eddie will be staying for another week in Singapore to fully recover from the procedure. Maraming salamat po,” she wrote.</p><div><br/></div><p>She also gave credit to the medical staff of herfather which had Filipino nurses and healthcare professionals. The Kapamilya actress is hopeful that Eddie will have “continued strength, healing, and full recovery.”</p><p>“Life is full of ups and downs, but we always get back up ~~standing tall whenever we fall ~~ because this too shall pass,” she ended. </p><div><br/></div><p>Friends and fans of the Gutierrez family sent their heartwarming messages in the comment section of her post. </p><div><br/></div><p>It was back in 2025 when Ruffa hinted that her father had been unwell, but that her mom Annabelle Rama had been taking good care of him.</p><div><br/></div><p>“Over the past few weeks, while Dad hasn’t been feeling well, I’ve watched how Mom poured all her time and energy into caring for him. Seeing them still in love after 52 years together makes me believe that forever really does exist,” she previously shared.</p>
