<p>Maxene Magalona opened up about the meaningful conversation she recently had with her mother, Pia Magalona.</p><p>&quot;Last night, I had the best conversation with my Mama @piamagalona 🥰,&quot; she shared on Instagram on Sunday, April 3. &quot;I paid her a visit as she was staying at my sister’s place to babysit her adorable kids. My intuition told me to spend time with her because I genuinely missed having one on one time with her. &quot;</p><p>Maxene described their talk as a deeply healing experience for both of them.</p><p>&quot;What happened was magical. We were able to speak to each other with so much calmness and mindfulness. We talked about how much we’ve learned in life and analyzed why we were the way we were when we were younger. We were holding space for each other without judgment or fear. It was a very healing experience for the both of us 🤗,&quot; she remarked.</p><p>The actress said the experience helped her understand her mother on a more profound level. &quot;I finally see my Mom for the beautiful soul that she really is. She is just like me—a human being with a big heart. But now I’ve realized that everything is in perfect order. Everything had to happen the way that it did so that we could get to the place where we are today—a place of peace, presence and pure love,&quot; she stated.</p><p>Maxene concluded her post with a touching message for her mother, saying: &quot;It’s not Mother’s Day nor is it my Mom’s birthday. It’s just an ordinary day made extraordinary by the grace of God 🫶🏼 I love you forever Mama @piamagalona! I am so happy and grateful to be at peace with you 🦋.&quot;</p>
