<p><em></em>Former <em>Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab Edition</em> housemate Shuvee Etrata opened up about her difficult upbringing as the eldest of nine siblings in a struggling household.</p><p>In an emotional conversation with Vice Ganda for his latest YouTube vlog, Shuvee described her family as &quot;dysfunctional,&quot; revealing that her father had no stable job while her mother continued to have children despite their difficult situation.</p><p>&quot;My dad, wala po siyang work, and then &#x27;yung mom ko naman buntis lang nang buntis before,&quot; she relayed. &quot;&#x27;Yun po &#x27;yung parang naging ano ko kay mommy ko, parang hatred ko, kasi nung [tumanda ako, napatanong ako], &#x27;Bakit ba ginawa kaming siyam kung hindi pala nila kaya?&#x27; Lima pa lang kami nun, hirap na kami eh,&quot; she recalled.</p><p>The actress admitted that the lack of family planning was a deep wound for her growing up.</p><p>&quot;Tapos nag-anak sila nang anak, never sila tumigil. &#x27;Yun po &#x27;yung naging bubog ko na nakapagpatawad naman po sa loob ng Bahay ni Kuya. Naging way ang Bahay ni Kuya. Siguro nahiya sila. Kasi sinabi ko dun lahat eh. Kasi di ba laging sa lipunan mas nire-require na &#x27;yung mga anak mahiya sa kanilang mga magulang, pero dapat ang mga magulang may hiya din sa kanilang mga anak. Lalo na &#x27;pag bata ka pa, wala ka pang kakayahang buhayin ang sarili mo, naka-angkla ka sa mga magulang mo. Naka-depende &#x27;yung uri ng buhay mo sa kung uri ng buhay ang ibibigay sa&#x27;yo ng mga magulang mo,&quot; Vice highlighted.</p><p>The <em>It&#x27;s Showtime </em>host added: &quot;Kaya kung lumaki ka na ang hirap-hirap ng estado mo, kagagawan &#x27;yun ng mga magulang. Kaya dapat nahihiya rin &#x27;yung mga magulang talaga.&quot;</p><p>Shuvee also shared that they never had a proper house of their own growing up. &quot;Never kasi kami nagkaroon ng sariling bahay magkakapatid, kaming pamilya... Palaging bahay ng lola ko, or kung saan-saan kami, palipat-lipat po kami,&quot; she said.</p><p>Now that she’s pursuing a better future, Shuvee said her dream is to give her siblings a home. &quot;&#x27;Yung dream house ko po... may sariling kwarto ang mga kapatid ko,&quot; she said. </p><p>Despite the pain, Shuvee remains motivated to provide for her family.</p><p>&quot;Choice ko naman siya talaga meme (Vice Ganda),&quot; she highlighted. &quot;My siblings po gusto kong ibigay sa kanila &#x27;yung buhay na deserve nila. Iyon &#x27;yung fire ko para mas galingan.&quot;</p><div></div>
