<p>Selena Gomez celebrated her 33rd birthday on July 22 by continuing her advocacy for mental health, launching a new initiative under her Rare Impact Fund.</p><p>In an Instagram post, the singer and actress reflected on the day she first introduced the Rare Impact Fund, which was launched on her birthday in 2020, with the aim of supporting young people’s mental health globally.</p><p>&quot;5 years ago today – on my birthday – we launched the Rare Impact Fund with a simple goal: to help more young people around the world feel seen, supported, and cared for. Mental health has always been deeply personal to me, and I wanted to build something that could create lasting change,&quot; she remarked.</p><p>Selena relayed that the program has reached millions worldwide since its establishment. &quot;Thanks to your support, we’ve reached over 2 million young people and supported 30 incredible organizations around the globe.
