Members Jhoanna, Stacey, Gwen, Aiah, Mikha, Sheena, Colet, and Maloi joined host Nicole Iizuka and Filipina talent/reactor Jayka Noelle as they tasted 11 iconic Filipino treats, some in which they grew up loving and others they tried for the first (and maybe last) time.

The girls kicked off the tasting with a popular Filipino mixed snack of corn nuts, green peas, peanuts, chips, and curls. It earned a group rating of 57 out of 80, with Maloi describing it as “colorful and offering me something.”

“We all have different personalities but when we combine, it’s perfect, tasty, perfect flavor,” they expressed.

Kwek-Kwek (Battered Quail Egg)
Their top-rated snack was kwek-kwek — the deep-fried, orange-coated quail eggs — scoring 79 out of 80.

“I was in BINI and we were preparing for a performance and then they had kwek kwek, I was like, ‘What was that?’ And they want me to try it and I couldn't believe (that I liked it),” she shared.

Hopiang Baboy (Pork Hopia)
For their third snack, some members revealed that they have not yet tried the Filipino pastry hopiang baboy, but were willing to do so. The girls also got real about tasting the pork flavor of the sweet pastry.

Another favorite sweet for the girls, BINI shared their liking for yema with 69.5 out of 80 points. The chewy and sweet taste of the snack brought back memories for the girls, especially Jhoanna who recalled seeing vendors selling the snack in front of churches in the Philippines.
