Park Seo-jun elated as he reunites with Filipino fans: ‘You guys are great’

Loud cheers blasted the Big Dome on Saturday night, July 12, as Korean superstar Park Seo-jun marked an epic reunion with his Filipino fans. 

The Ultimate Fan Fest, organized by Century Tuna, fulfilled some of the fans’ wildest fantasies including a privilege to go on a two-minute date with Seo-jun.

Seo-jun was ecstatic as he addressed his fans who flocked to the venue to show their love and support for the star.

“Being here itself is something that excites me a lot. Each and every one of you... you guys are great,” he told his fans via an intepreter.  

The sought-after leading man, who has been juggling multiple engagements, expressed his happiness over his reunion with the fans. 

“Currently, I’m working on a very hectic and busy schedule, but I’m very glad that through meeting you guys today, it gives me energy so that I can go back and work hard,” he said. 

“Recently, I’ve been going through shoots, staying in my sets, doing shoots for my upcoming works. But through this, feeling your love, I’m very happy,” he added.

During the short interview segment of the fan meet, Seo-jun answered some questions that fueled fans’ interest.  

Fans were delighted when Seo-jun expressed his desire to travel around the country.  

“One of my dreams is to travel to a lot of different destinations. So, I hope that I may also have the chance to travel along Philippines,” he said.

Seo-jun shared that he rewards himself after every project by exploring different places.

“Whenever I finish a project, I try to have some time to empty the character that I have for the upcoming project that I’ll work on. That’s why I do this by traveling to different places,” he said. 

In a press conference hours before the highly anticipated fan meet, the Korean superstar admitted that he never got to explore Filipino delicacies due to time constraints. 

“I really did not have the time enough to taste Filipino delicacies. But the most exciting schedule that I have during my visit here is my fan fest later. I think that would be such a blast, and I’ll try my best to make the most out of it,” he told reporters.  

Seo-jun kept his word and made the night unforgettable by being fully engaged with the fan-centered activities throughout the show.

In a previous interview with Filipino reporters in 2023, he also expressed interest in discovering the country’s wonders.  

"Actually a few years back, I was able to visit Cebu, and this is actually a very memorable time for me. And recently I was able to go on different vacations so I would also love to visit different tourists and vacation spots [here],” he said.
