Celebrity couple Jessy Mendiola and Luis Manzano brought their daughter, Rosie, to Hong Kong for a quick family vacation. The Kapamilya actress expressed how this was a much-needed time for their family as they’ve been busy the past few months due to the elections and her upcoming series, Sins of the Father.

Jessy shared a glimpse of their family trip in her YouTube channel, giving a better idea for her followers on how their vacation went.

Despite planning their vacation, things didn’t go as planned as Rosie fell ill for most of their trip, forcing her to stay in the hotel room to recover. The Kapamilya actress admitted how she was feeling mom guilt seeing her daughter sick in another country. 

“Mom guilt is real. Nagdi-discuss kami ni Howhow kung lalabas ba kami or magstay nalang kami half day dito sa room. Kumbaga, lalabas kami ng morning tapos the rest of the day we will stay here with Rosie,” she shared.

“Although, bumabalik-balik din naman talaga kami [sa room] pag lumalabas kami. Ang hirap talaga ‘no sa parents, mas lalo na kung may sakit ‘yung anak mo tapos ngayon nasa ibang bansa. First time kasi namin maranasan to,” she added.

“Naisip ko lang din syempre, coming from the campaign, the elections, then I’m currently doing a show now, ito lang talaga ‘yung mini break ko. Gusto ko magunwind, gusto ko gumala. Umaatake ang mom guilt sa akin kasi feeling ko dapat ako din nasa room lang,  ako din magstay kay Rosie, ako din dapat tinatry ko talaga hatiin ‘yung oras,” she continued. 

In another clip, Jessy was seen buying her daughter some books that could keep her company while she recovers in their hotel room.

“Si Rosie sobrang hilig sa books and excited ako na makita niya ‘yung mga books na pinamili namin kasi sobrang ganda ng mga pinili para sa amin,” she shared.

She then shared that they extended their stay in Hong Kong in hopes that Rosie would recover in time for the highlight of their trip–– Hong Kong Disneyland. Fortunately, the celebrity daughter was well rested and was able to make the most out of her stay at the happiest place on Earth.

The family transferred to Hong Kong Disneyland hotel where they stayed at the Kingdom Club Frozen Suite. Rosie was welcomed with several toys and dolls coming from the blockbuster film, all of which she loved. 

Jessy then showed some clips of her daughter and Luis enjoying their time around the theme park. They met several cast members from Rosie’s favorite film and were able to take photos for her to remember in the future. 

“Sobrang saya ko lang talaga na naging ok na siya nung last day namin. Basta maging ok ang pakiramdam niya at mapasaya lang namin siya, yun ang pinaka-importante para samin ni @luckymanzano,” she shared in her Instagram caption.
