Patricia Javier discussed the mission of the Doc Rob's Foundation, the organization she co-founded with her husband, Rob Walcher.

In an interview with Snooky Serna for her YouTube vlog, Patricia relayed that the foundation runs several programs.

"'Yung Doc Rob's Foundation, we have four programs. We have building homes, education, livelihood projects, and we also have hospital financial assistance," she relayed.

Patricia explained that her desire to help others stems from her own experience of growing up with limited resources. Before entering show business, the actress came from humble beginnings.

"Hindi naman ako nagbibigay dahil akala mo marami ako o meron ako. Nagbibigay ako dahil alam ko 'yung pakiramdam ng wala ka, ng walang gustong tumulong sa'yo," she said. "So ngayon meron akong parang ability na mag-give back o tumulong sa kaya kong way, parang ang laking [bagay] sa akin 'yun dahil naiisip ko nung time ko eh na nandun ako sa sitwasyon kung gaano kahirap."

In the same interview, Patricia also reflected on the most important life lessons she’s learned over the years.

"Siguro isa sa natutunan ko sa buhay 'yung huwag kang susuko hangga't may hininga ka, hangga't may buhay ka, kaya mong gawin 'yung mga bagay na mga dreams mo sa buhay, basta you always have good intention sa lahat ng ginagawa mo sa buhay," she said.

In a previous interview with Korina Sanchez on NET25, Patricia and Rob shared the journey that led their family to settle down in the Philippines after residing in the US for years.

Rob recalled the moment he felt a shift in his life and decided it was time for something new. "We had a nice life there, I was taking care of people. However, I kind of felt like I could be doing more," he recounted. "So I sold my clinic... Around that same time, somebody bought our house so it was kind of like we were free. We really didn't have any responsibilities."

With no pressing responsibilities tying them down, Rob and Patricia decided to embark on an adventure. "We figured hey let's go to the Philippines and maybe for six months or one year, and just kind of live that adventure for a while. Let the kids experience the Philippines," he said.

But what was meant to be a temporary stay turned into something much more meaningful.

"It started off just doing charity events. We were going around doing chiropractic at gyms and barangays, that was really fun and spreading this chiropractic message," he recounted. "And just that appreciation and the way people felt, that was quite a great feeling again that I experienced."

The couple eventually realized they wanted to stay in the Philippines.
