<p>Jennifer Lawrence opened up about how motherhood transformed her professional life. </p><p>The Hollywood star is a mother of two children with husband Cooke Maroney.</p><p>In an interview at the Cannes Film Festival as reported by <em>Elle</em>, Jennifer remarked that being a mother brought immense changes to her as an actress. </p><p>&quot;Having children changes your whole life—it’s brutal and incredible. Not only does it go into every decision of if I’m working, when I’m working and where I’m working,&quot; she said.</p><p>The actress revealed that motherhood has played a key role in her growth as an actress. &quot;My job has a lot to do with emotion; they’ve opened up the world to me. It’s almost like feeling a blister, so sensitive,&quot; the Hollywood star stated.  </p><p>&quot;They’ve changed my life for the best and they’ve changed me creatively. She stars alongside Robert Pattinson in the movie.</p><p>As pert its <em>IMDb</em>, the movie tells the story of &quot;a mother [who] struggles to maintain her sanity as she battles with psychosis&quot; in &quot;a remote forgotten rural area.&quot;</p><p>Jennifer welcomed her first child, Cy, in February 2022. She welcomed her second baby in March this year.</p><p>In an interview with <em>Interview Magazine</em> in 2023, Jennifer shared that motherhood has influenced how she picks her projects. </p><p>&quot;There’s no squeezing when you have a baby. It definitely helps weed out projects: &#x27;Yes. No. Yes. No. Yes. No. Is this worth being away from my child for half the day?&#x27;&quot; she said.</p><p>Back in 2022, Jennifer told<em> Vogue</em> how becoming a mom felt like her &quot;whole life had started over.&quot;</p><p>&quot;Like, now is day one of my life.
