Elisse Joson shares guide on how to create a 'dopamine menu'

Taking a break from her usual “artista life moments,” actress Elisse Joson offered something new for her followers: a guide on creating a dopamine menu.   In her most recent YouTube video, Elisse talked about the little things included in her own dopamine menu, sharing some bits of valuable realizations about life.  <div><iframe width="1296" height="729" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/p2ba1I1FApI" title="How I Made My Dopamine Menu (a soft life reset)" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div> A dopamine menu, as defined by Women’s Health, is a personalized list of activities that are meant to “boost your feel-good hormones,” or simply, things you do that make you feel happy.   “Lately, I’ve been feeling that life has just been moving so fast, but somehow not getting anywhere or at least it feels like it. And I haven’t been living it. [I’m] just going through the motions,” said Elisse, sharing why she decided to start the healthy habit.   The actress admitted that her daughter Felize was her motivation for doing it.   “That real change on how I live my life needs to happen for this tiny little human [Felize], the main reason why I even started doing this dopamine menu because it’s not just about me anymore, it’s about the kind of life I want her to grow up seeing,” she explained.   “One where I don’t constantly have to chase happiness because I’ve learned to create it in small ways every day,” she added.   Hoping to inspire others to follow suit, Elisse walked her followers through a step-by-step process of creating a dopamine menu, sharing three procedures which include: identifying things that spark joy, categorizing the dopamine menu, and making it a daily practice.    In her vlog, the actress emphasized the importance of finding happiness in small things in life.   “Instead of thinking that happiness has to be something big, something that happens after you’ve done enough, achieved enough, I started romanticizing little things,” she said. “The way the sunlight comes in when I open the curtains, that extra special feeling of lighting a candle, that first sip of coffee, the small habits that make life softer.”  At the end of her vlog, Elisse emphasized on what a soft life, which she tries to maintain, really means for her.   “A soft life doesn’t mean life is perfect, it just means I’m learning to move through it with more grace, more care, and more presence. And maybe that’s the kind of life she’ll grow up choosing, too,” she said.   Elisse has been a proud and hands-on mom, as seen in her social media posts.    Last May 1, she shared in Instagram post that she started to teach Feliz how to meditate at an early age.  <div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/showbiz/celebrities/2025/5/2/elisse-joson-teaches-daughter-the-value-of-meditation-1442"> READ: Elisse Joson teaches daughter the value of meditation</a></div> “Took me 29 years to start seeing the importance of meditating so hopefully Felize gets an early practice while growing up,” she said in an Instagram post.
