Actress Nikki Valdez is proving that age is just a number as she continues to embrace a fit and healthy lifestyle at 46.

In an interview during an event at a skincare clinic she represents, the Kapamilya star opened up about her wellness routine and the mindset that keeps her feeling her best.

“Ang dami ko nang nagawang treatments. I won’t say it’s few because at my age — I’m 46 years old — I have to admit that I need a little help for the skin,” Valdez said candidly. “But as much as possible, I try to do it as maintenance, not to change my face. Because for me, ang real beauty naman is not changing the way you look; it’s just maintaining what you already have and improving to still be the best version of myself.”

While she credits her trusted clinic for helping her take care of her skin, Valdez also emphasized the importance of an active lifestyle.

“I do sports. I do a lot of tennis,” she said. “Of course, you can’t rely on treatments alone; you have to support that with the right kind of food and regular activities. Recently, I’ve been really into tennis. Like, a lot. I play almost every day.”

Despite her energy and commitment to fitness, the actress admitted that staying in shape doesn’t always come easy. “Not really hard, pero of course may struggles na sa age natin. When you reach 40 — sometimes nga for others, earlier pa — but for me, ever since I was a kid, I’ve always had an active lifestyle,” she explained.

“So it wasn’t hard for me to get into being active to maintain that weight. And of course, it’s for your health. It’s not just to lose weight and look thin. You do this to be healthy.”
