“Coming into this project, we knew it wasn’t going to be easy doing an action series all over the world but we were able to manage everything and we have a good show on our hands. I consider this as one of my legacy projects. Sa dinami dami ng ginawa ko, this is definitely top three,” he admitted during the Incognito mid-season press conference held last April 7 in Quezon City.

“We shot this episode of Incognito in Yamagata, Japan. Sobrang lamig dun sa lugar na yun at talagang snow everyday, nonstop snow fall. If you’re going to ask me kung bakit dun, siguro pinili nila yung pinakamaraming snow na area because we really wanted to capture yung ibang terrain na all white. We wanted all white feel and I think we got it and more. Everyday talagang nonstop yung snow. Na-experience namin legit na snowstorm,” he recalled.

“Hats off to our crew, sobra yung pinagdaanan nila managing all the equipment and the cameras, the lenses, and everything, at the same time, in that kind of weather condition. Talagang it was challenging for everyone, everyday. We were able to do it as a unit and after that, you can take us anywhere. That’s the type of experience that after that, kahit saan niyo ako dalhin next. It was worth it. Worth it lahat ng hirap, pagod, lamig. We are very excited for everyone to see these episodes. We’re very proud of our work at san ma-enjoy din nila,” he recalled.

“Tapos siyempre yung daylight laging hinahabol lagi. A lot of challenging conditions but we were able to manage. I think we did a good job as a team. Everyday was very challenging plus shooting the action sequences. We just had to adapt. We just had to survive, we had to do our jobs the best way we can. Pero mahirap talaga. Mahirap talaga yung weather conditions. Pag nabasa kasi yung paa mo, yun na yun eh. Ang hirap na nun. So we had to wear waterproof gloves, waterproof socks and shoes, everything. It was hard. Pag may wind gust, malala siya. We also want to congratulate and thank the entire team of Incognito for a job well done. The job’s not finished but all the hard work involved was worth it,” he added.
