"Thee one and only!" another fan wrote.

Nadine donned a custom gown by Rajo Laurel for the ball.

In an Instagram post, Rajo shared that it was the first time he had created a piece specifically for the actress.

"When @nadine asked me to create something for her for the ABSCBN ball, all I knew is that I wanted this to be very special. This was actually the very first time that I would be doing something specific for her. Not a piece from my past work but something that I would make just for Nadine," he relayed.

The designer shared that he wanted to create something that was "sacred, personal and powerful."

"I am so grateful to her stylist @lynalumno (who I truly love working with). She guided me throughout the entire process and because I believed that the universe conspired to work her magic into this project…. the 'NAUTILUS' was born," he said.

On the inspiration of the gown, the designer relayed: "I recall sketching the dress while I was away for work in Hong Kong and imagining this dress that had a rhythm and mysticism to it, like an ebb and a flow to its entire being. The team and I met once and from there it was literally smooth sailing."

Rajo further shared that the dress is made from a "bisque/bone Italian liquid double faced satin and Illusion tulle."

"I remember just listening to Vivaldi while draping this and it all came so naturally. I love it when that happens because I know that the work is coming from a higher place. Thank you Nadine for trusting all of us @houseoflaurel. We are deeply grateful," he remarked.
