This was actually the very first time that I would be doing something specific for her. Not a piece from my past work but something that I would make just for Nadine,&quot; he relayed.</p><p>The designer shared that he wanted to create something that was &quot;sacred, personal and powerful.&quot;</p><p>&quot;I am so grateful to her stylist @lynalumno (who I truly love working with). She guided me throughout the entire process and because I believed that the universe conspired to work her magic into this project…. the &#x27;NAUTILUS&#x27; was born,&quot; he said.</p><p>On the inspiration of the gown, the designer relayed: &quot;I recall sketching the dress while I was away for work in Hong Kong and imagining this dress that had a rhythm and mysticism to it, like an ebb and a flow to its entire being. The team and I met once and from there it was literally smooth sailing.&quot;</p><p>Rajo further shared that the dress is made from a &quot;bisque/bone Italian liquid double faced satin and Illusion tulle.&quot;</p><p>&quot;I remember just listening to Vivaldi while draping this and it all came so naturally. I love it when that happens because I know that the work is coming from a higher place. Thank you Nadine for trusting all of us @houseoflaurel. We are deeply grateful,&quot; he remarked.</p>
