Beauty queen and actress Kylie Verzosa expressed how happy she is for Chie Filomeno and Jake Cuenca. She dropped a comment on the Kapamilya actress’ Instagram post to let everyone know that it’s possible to be happy for your ex-partner.

Kylie and Jake previously dated for three years before deciding to part ways in 2022. It was back in 2023 –– almost a year after their separation —when the Kapamilya actor announced his relationship status with Chie.

Chie shared some snaps she had with Jake during the recently concluded ABS-CBN Ball 2025. The two surprised everyone as they walked together in the red carpet, smiling beautifully at one another.

“Happy for you guys,” Kylie wrote.

Kylie’s comment has amassed more than 40,000 likes as of writing and hundreds of replies under. Fans were delighted with how Kylie commented while others were pleasantly surprised with the interaction.

The Kapamilya actress then replied to the beauty queen’s comment–– making sure she also expressed how happy she is with the latter’s love life. Kylie previously shared that she is currently seeing a non-showbiz boyfriend following her breakup with Jake. 

“Thank you Kylie! Happy for you as well,” Chie shared.

Meanwhile, friends of Chie and Jake stormed the comment section to express how beautiful the couple looked for the night. Other fans also noticed how brightly the two were smiling at each other.

“Filed under: things we only prayed for before. Amiriteee,” a friend added.

Chie and Jake were just some of the many Kapamilya stars that graced the ABS-CBN Ball 2025 which was held at the Solaire Resort North in Quezon City. The beautiful orange gown of Chie was made by Filipino designers Mark Bumgarner and Earl Semitara.
