Diane Ventura, executive producer and director of the Eraserheads documentary “Combo on the Run,” has released a statement in response to mounting media inquiries involving Marcus Adoro.

This, after front man Ely Buendia’s announcement that Adoro, the band's lead guitarist, would be stepping back from Eraserheads projects amid allegations.

Earlier this week, Buendia posted on Instagram to share the band’s official stance: “We acknowledge the recent allegations that have surfaced online. As proponents of justice, we unequivocally condemn all criminal acts and stand against abuse of any form. Above all, we seek the truth. As Marcus makes time to address the matter at hand, he will be stepping back from the upcoming project. We move forward with humility and deep respect for the truth and social responsibility.”

The statement triggered widespread public reaction, with fans and media outlets seeking clarity on how the allegations would affect ongoing Eraserheads ventures.

Ventura responded on Monday, April 7, with a formal message, reiterating the team’s commitment to truth, justice, and due process. 

She emphasized that while the team is firmly against abuse, they also recognize the need for proper legal procedure.

Ventura confirmed their willingness to cooperate with any investigation and emphasized the importance of supporting all affected parties — especially those who may be caught in the crossfire. 

The team also appealed to the public to refrain from passing premature judgment.

“In response to the request of the media to comment on our statement.

“The statement establishes where our values stand, We do not tolerate abuse of any kind that is a given.

“This does not mean that we give credence to allegations without legal basis.  

“We do not want to set a precedent of rendering judgement without due process.

“We rely on proper legal channels to obtain the truth and will support any investigation that needs to be conducted and in that context, we recognize the principle of presumption of innocence.

“We want Marcus to be able to take the time to devote energy and resources to address this situation.

“We ask the public to avoid hasty judgments and to trust the relevant systems in place so that no one suffers unnecessarily, especially the innocent  children and family of those affected by this.

“We request for understanding, empathy, and common decency and respect as we navigate this difficult and complex situation.

“We appreciate all the love and support we have received from our fans during these days. We will continue to be with them wherever our tour continues.”  

While Adoro’s involvement in future appearances remains uncertain, the tour is expected to proceed with the support of the remaining members.
