Melai Cantiveros marked her birthday with a fun and playful photoshoot inspired by classic rum calendar posters.

The comedienne shared the snapshots from the shoot on her Instagram page, much to the delight of her fans. 

"Akala nyu @bernardokath and @ivanaalawi kayu lang magaling sa ganitu na posing???????? . Tama ang akala nyu kayu lang tlaga kasi pangit ng kalabasan ko dtu hahahaha🥴🤣," she quipped in the caption.

Melai continued with her signature humor: "This is my Birthday Bash Post , totoong bash tlaga makukuha ko dtu 🤣👍 Pero shout out jan sa mga Kuantie and mga Momshie na ready ang Tuba at Bahalina sa Bday na may kasamang chismisan pa 💋👍 The Best😎🫰Happy Bday To Me ," she said.

In the photos, the television host is seen holding a glass of tuba, or Filipino coconut wine.

Fans and friends of Melai were quick to react to her post.

Melai turned 37 years old on April 6. 

Melai is currently hosting Pilipinas Got Talent on ABS-CBN alongside Robi Domingo.

"And Yes kami na nga at wala narin kayung magagawa naka advance payment na kami Char lang 🫰✌️😁," Melai quipped in a previous post about hosting PGT.

She also took a heartfelt moment to express her gratitude for the opportunity.

"Thank you Kapamilya Network for this oppurtunity , wala sa wildest dream ko na maging host ako sa PGT pero tlagang pinlano ni Lord na matry ko itu❤️ Thank you Lord🙏🏻 Thank you partner @iamrobidomingo , grabe ka aylabyou 💋."

She also addressed both supporters and skeptics with grace and good humor.

"Thank you sa mga naniniwala na makakayanan ko tu," she said. "At sa mga di naniniwala thank you din sa pasencya nyu na mapagtitiisan ako 😁🫰dahil medyu mahaba haba pa tu hehehehe Char lang , Lord guide me and Robi and kagaya ng sinabi ko Iwill try my best and God will do the rest🙏🏻💯💋."
