Melai Cantiveros took to social media to write a heartfelt birthday message for her older daughter, Mela, who turned 11.

In her Instagram post, Melai reflected on how fast time has flown. "Happy Bday to our @atemelafrancisco na never fail us na ma OAhan kami sa kanya , hahahaha parang kailan lang 7 kapa ngayun Eleven kana 🧐😍 ang bilis ng panahon ❤️," she said.

The television host remarked that while Mela continues to grow and change, her family's love remains constant.

"Happy Bday Ate sa milestone mu ngayun kita na namin ang pagbabago mu, ma mental mn yan ma physical o ma financial , (kasi mga damit na gusto mu hindi na mga toys 🥰💋 ) pero anu mn mga pagbabago na yan sayu , hindi magbabago ang pagmamahal nmin sayu to the highest level Ate," she stated.

She also praised Mela's caring nature toward her younger sister, Stela, and her wider circle of cousins and friends.

"Hindi ka lang Ate ni Stela , Ate Mela ka din ng lahat ng pinsan mu kaibigan mu, Ang galing mu jan💋🥰💯 we love u Ate and God loves you more 🫰❤️💯😍," she stated.

In her post, Melai shared snapshots of Mela's birthday celebration which was attended by their friends and family.

Mela is the eldest child of Melai with husband Jason Francisco. They have a second daughter, Stela, who turned seven years old last year.  

In a previous interview in the TFC show BRGY, the Kapamilya host was asked if she and Jason are planning to have a third child.

Melai admitted that she is still hesitant about having a third child as she experienced complications with her previous pregnancy.

"Kasi parang na-trauma ako dun sa placenta previa ko with Stela (her second child)," she said.

The Kapamilya star relayed that Jason is also hesitant to have another baby because of the additional parental obligation it will entail.

"Si Jason naman kung tatanungin mo siya, natakot siya sa responsibilidad kasi itong dalawang anak pa nga lang namin kung magkasakit, mamatay na nga siya sa takot, ano pa 'yung tatlo? Tatlo yung iisipin niya," Melai said.

The comedian then quipped: "Tsaka aside sa takot, takot na rin siyang makarinig ng ingay sa bahay."

Melai remarked that she and Jason are already content with having two children but if it's God will that they will have another offspring, they will embrace it.

"Medyo kontento na kami sa aming dalawang chicken nuggets pero if ibibigay ni Lord, no problem. Papang let's go!" she said.
