Dimples Romana recalled her college days when she was enrolled at the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. The 40-year-old actress looked back on her stint as a courtside reporter during the 2002 to 2004 season of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines. The UAAP is a sports association of eight universities in Metro Manila.

In the same post, Dimples thanked her friend for reminding her of her courtside reporting experience and shared a reflection. “An ate of mine @leahlaoarellano sent this to me and what a beautiful reminder it was for me today. That dreams do come true and if you work hard enough, value your work with integrity and respect and remain good to the people around you, you can have a lasting career in hosting and in media. Always been my mantra , slowly but surely- steadily. 28 years in in the business and still my heart wakes up full of gratitude like this was only from yesterday ✨🤗”

She wrote “Hi, Ann 🎥🎬 New series, new character coming right up for you all to enjoy 😉 ✨ When I was offered to do 'I See You' it was an offer I couldn’t resist, the script was pasabog ( I have a feeling you’re all gonna enjoy watching this one!🫣😏) , we shot on scheduled dates within my live morning show schedule, and ALSO because I have been waiting, more like praying for this moment that my good friend Best Director @examiner07 and I will cross paths again! 🤗 truly everything is made beautiful in HIS time.”
