"I was nervous, sobrang kinakabahan ako going into it. Sa States kasi hindi katulad sa Pilipinas na pwede ka magdala ng road manager mo or ng handler mo. Susunduin ka pero ikaw lang talaga pupunta sa set and siyempre first experience ko 'yun" he said in an interview with Boy Abunda.

When asked if he had more projects lined up in the US, Inigo revealed: "I've been doing auditions, so many auditions and I love the process of doing it. This coming 2025, I am not allowed to talk much about it, but I am going to do another film in the States wherein I'm going to be the lead for it."

He also reflected on the challenges of auditioning in Hollywood: "Still doing auditions, non-stop auditions. The last time I was with my dad (Piolo Pascual), we talked about how many auditions, I've done 25 total auditions so you could imagine I only landed 2 or 3 so it's hard."

In a previous interview, Inigo detailed how he auditioned for the role. "For Ace, there wasn’t much given to me. It just says that he was adopted. He’s a singer who struggles with anxiety. And so one of my auditions actually was originally Ace was supposed to have seizures. Part of my audition and callback was doing a seizure. And so, I had to act out a seizure on camera," he revealed.

The actor also discussed the differences between auditioning in the US and the Philippines. “With Monarch, with the whole process of self-tapes, [in] America, there’s a season for auditions. It’s not like in the Philippines where a project is given or a project is offered to you. In America, kahit na sikat na sikat ka na, you’re still asked to audition for certain things. And during the audition season, I was helping some of my cast mates, I was helping Emma [Milani] with her self-tape, I was helping Callum [Kerr] with his self-tapes, and vice versa, they would help me with my self-tapes.”

Monarch was headlined by veteran actress and Oscar winner Susan Sarandon. The Fox drama followed the lives of Albie Roman (Trace Adkins), the reigning "King of Country Music," and his wife Dottie Cantrell Roman (Susan Sarandon), the "Queen of Country Music." Together, they built a dynasty — but the foundation of their empire hides a dark secret.
