It was revealed in her post that her nieces had saved up their allowance since January and pooled more than Php 7,000. The two nieces expressed how this was their way of giving back to their ‘Mama Kim’ who has been doing so much for them ever since.

Raine and Liam tried different ways of saving up for the birthday lunch, with the latter selling clamps and splitting her allowance just to save the money. Raine, on the other hand, wouldn’t touch her allowance and just eat home cooked meals for her lunches in school.

“We’re treating Mama Kim because she’s done a lot for us since bata pa kami. She's been there talaga for us. She also pays for a lot of stuff. For example, school. Like minsan pinapasyal kami kasi she really wants to spend time with us and then she sets time to spend time with us. We’re really thankful, and this is a way we show our thank you to her and we show our care,” Raine said.
