Vhong Navarro shared about the qualities he admires most about his wife Tanya Bautista.

In an interview with Bernadette Sembrano on her YouTube vlog, the It’s Showtime host relayed that he deeply admires Tanya’s strong family values.

"Ano siya ideal [wife] talaga sya kasi bukod sa masarap magluto, magaling makisama sa mga magulang, sa parents ko, sa mga anak ko. Ang galing niya," he shared.

He also praised Tanya’s ability to foster a harmonious relationship within their blended family.

"Kasi dalawa ang anak ko, magkaiba 'yung nanay. Tapos si kasi Tanya ang galing makisama. Siyempre darating sa point na dadalawin sila ng mga nanay nila tapos nandun din si Tanya, nag-uusap sila."

Describing Tanya as a "wonderwoman," Vhong commended her strength and resilience. "Napaka-strong para malagpasan niya lahat," he said.

When asked for his message to Tanya, Vhong expressed heartfelt gratitude. "Mahal, salamat sa pag hindi pagbitaw at hindi ka sumuko sa pagmamahalan natin. Sa dami nating pinagdaanan natin sa buhay, as in roller coaster ride, nandiyan ka lagi sa tabi ko."

Vhong first met Tanya when they worked together for a film. "Nagkakilala kami sa movie na My Only U, 'yung pelikula namin ni Toni (Gonzaga) tapos direk Cathy (Garcia-Sampana)," he relayed.

Vhong and Tanya tied the knot in November 2019 in an intimate wedding ceremony in Kyoto, Japan, after more than a decade together. Family, close friends, and showbiz colleagues were present in their wedding.

The couple celebrated their 16th anniversary as a couple and their 5th wedding anniversary in September 2024.

The It's Showtime host took to social media to pen a message for Tanya in September of last year as he marked the occasion.

"Mahal, Ang aking dalangin ay patuloy kang mahalin. Ang pagsasawa ay hindi darating dahil lagi natin babalikan ang unang pagtatagpo ng ating mga tingin.😍😘Happy 16th Anniversary and Happy 5th Wedding Anniversary! I love you, Mahal @t.winona ❤️," he wrote.
