“I’m in good spirits.” 

This is the assurance that Emilio Daez gave to his supporters after his recent eviction from the Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Collab edition. 

“Hindi pa tapos ang laban natin kasi dito talaga sa labas ng bahay ni Kuya ang totoong laban,” he told Star Magic.

Emilio is the other half of the first male duo that got evicted from this edition named “Mili.” Along with Kapuso actor Michael Sager, he exited the Big Brother house on Saturday, April 26.  

It was a close fight between them and the duo “Brince”, as the partnership of Brent Manalo and Vince Maristela was dubbed. Emilio and Michael garnered 29.12% while Brent and Vince got 30.95% of the votes. The duo “Rasti,” composed of Ralph de Leon and Dustin Yu, was also spared from eviction after receiving 39.93%. 

Known for his jolly personality, Emilio was all smiles as he exited the house while Michael was emotional due to the results.  

“I think ang pinakaimportanteng aral na nakuha ko dito sa bahay ni Kuya ay maging mabuting tao. Just be good and it will all come back to you, one way or another,” he said when asked about the greatest lesson he gained from his PBB journey. 

Emilio invited his supporters to keep in touch through his social media platforms.

“Please stay tuned, marami pa po kayong aabangan sa akin,” he said. “Please follow me on Instagram and TikTok and stay tuned kasi marami pa akong pasabog para sa inyo.” 

The rising actor also made a promise for the fans in the same interview.  

“I promise to keep working super hard para mas marami pa kayong makita sa akin,” he said.  

The actor also expressed his gratitude to them: “Maraming salamat sa suporta guys, and as always, super excited to see you, nagkatotoo nga. I hope to see you guys very soon and maraming salamat sa suporta.”  

“This is not the end, this is just the start,” he remarked.  

Emilio and Michael were the third pair of evictees, following AC Bonifacio and Ashley Ortega, and Kira Balinger and Charlie Fleming.  

Emilio is set for his first lead role in the upcoming sports romantic dramedy Love at First Spike.

In an interview with PUSH ABS-CBN prior to entering PBB, he revealed getting the lead role was not easy.  

“Nag-audition ako, hindi po ako handpicked,” he said. “Grabe, madami akong nakalaban na artista dito sa industriya. We were like 50 guys and sa awa ng Diyos, napili ako ni direk. Grabe, super super thankful and blessed ako! It’s a dream come true.”
