It was only last year when she signed on to join Star Magic’s talented roster of artists. Now, Lance Reblando is taking on her first series project with iWantTFC this year as part of the cast of its first original series this year, Love at First Spike.

“Sa totoo lang, hindi ko talaga in-expect ito. Kasi ang in-expect ko lang was wala, nothing kasi gusto ko lang mag-perform, gusto ko lang mag-create. Pero wala, nag-land dito so might as well tuloy-tuloyin na. Nagulat ako kasi hindi ko akalain na mag-de-develop sila ng role na ganito, na transwoman. So the fact itself na may ganun, it shows na sobrang progressive na ng goal nila direk and ng show na ito. Kasi excited na ako na i-share sa mga trans nene at trans totoy na makakanuod kasi may lugar. Si Diamond nandito so puwede,” she told PUSH ABS-CBN in an exclusive interview.

Samahan niyo si Diamond Hernandez na mag dive/dig/pancake/front roll para lang maisalba, hindi lang ang bola pero ang mga pinaglalaban niya sa buhay bilang isang transwoman sa mundo ng sports. She is indeed one of the strongest gems out there! Kumapit kayo para ma-receive niyo nang maayos ang series na to kasi sineset namin nang maayos lahaaat! Palumpalo na kami!! See you sa June sa @iwanttfc”

“After Wanted: Male Boarder, I played Melody dun sa Virgin Lab Fest. Actually, ang description niya dun was effeminate gay, pero pa-transition na siya. Eh nung mga panahong yun, parang nag-wa-war na ako sa utak ko na what if mag-medical transition ako? Tapos after nun, mga series role na, na babae yung role. Malaking part siya ng buhay ko kasi never akong dumating sa point na hala, mag-corporate na lang kaya ako? Or maghanap na lang kaya ako ibang job? Sumabay sila, as in. Ang galing ng universe (laughs)!” she recalled.

“Ang interesting fact dun is sumabay yung mga role na nakukuha ko sa pag-ta-transition ko. Socially man or kahit sa medical transition kasi nag-start siya sa anak, anak roles tapos coming-of-age, tapos closet gay. Tapos ang transition ko naging magical bird ako sa Lam-ang. Tapos na nung mga roles na yun, girl roles. So nakakataba lang ng puso na isa ako sa mga suwerteng individual na nabigyan ng pagkakataon na bigyang buhay yung mga roles na ginagawa ng mga tao,” she explained.
