Kapamilya star Dimples Romana marked the birthday of her best friend, Angel Locsin, on her Instagram account earlier today, April 23. The Kadenang Ginto actress shared some throwback photos of their trip to Italy back in 2019.

Dimples and Angel are known to be one of the closest friends in the showbiz industry.

In her post, the Kapamilya actress shared how special their trip to Rome was because she was able to hear mass and bond with Angel among other reasons. In one of the photos, the two friends were spotted smiling as they walked through a rainy pathway in Italy.

They were in Italy for a work trip alongside their ASAP family which included other Kapamilya stars such as Kathryn Bernardo, Jodi Sta. Maria, and Coco Martin, among others.

“Rome 2019 🤍 a bit of throwback for the time when I got to visit the Vatican , our @asapofficial family brought me here,” she wrote.

Dimples then expressed her affection for Angel and greeted her “ultimate favorite birthday girl.”

“Forever grateful for this special time getting to hear the holy Mass in Rome and also spending time with my fave people and my ultimate favorite birthday girl 🤍 Happy Birthday to my best friend @therealangellocsin 🤍 love youuuu mars,” she ended.

Fans of Angel stormed the comment section to pen their individual birthday messages for her. Other netizens expressed how much they miss seeing Angel as she doesn’t have any active projects as of this writing.

Apart from acting hiatus, Angel has also maintained her private life as she seldom posts on her social media accounts. It was earlier this year when the Kapamilya star went back on X (formerly Twitter) after her account was hacked.

“Hello everyone 😇 long time no chat. I just wanna say I have recovered my X account (totoo na to, pramis 😄) Thank you sa mga tumulong and @X for helping. I miss you all and ingat lagi,” she previously posted.
