Actress Ynna Asistio took to social media to share moments from the recent birthday celebration of her mother, Nadia Montenegro, and her siblings held in Antipolo.

On Ynna’s Instagram page, Nadia, together with children Yana and Xander, celebrated their special day, making a grand get-together for their family.

“Mom, Xander and Yana's birthday celebration at @cabanayassi 🤍 #dump,” Ynna wrote.

Among those spotted at the family gathering was actor Ian Veneracion, along with Nadia’s other children such as Alyssa Assandra, Anykka Allandra, Ameerah, Samantha Grace, and Ysha.

Ynna also shared heartfelt messages for her mother and sister on their special day.

To her mom Nadia, Ynna expressed deep gratitude despite their busy lives pulling them in different directions.

“Dearest Mom, @officialnadiam Happy, happy birthday! Ever since I became a mom and a wife, and you got busier with work, we haven’t had as much time together. These are the bittersweet moments that remind us how far life has taken us. Still, every day I thank God for blessing me with a mother who is such a fighter,” she wrote.

She acknowledged that their relationship isn’t perfect but praised her mother’s love and care, especially for her daughter with husband Bully Carbonell, Ava Zafina.

“Our relationship may not be perfect, but I am truly grateful for the love and care you give, especially to Zaffy. You are the best grandmother she could ever have,” she added.

Ynna went on: “Last year was incredibly tough, and I know we still have challenges ahead—but with God by our side, and with a strong mom like you in my life, I know we’ll be okay.”

Concluding her message for her mom Ynna expressed, “Thank you for always doing your very best for us. Now it’s time for you to slow down a little, and start taking care of yourself, too. You deserve that and so much more.”

Ynna also had a touching message for her sister Yana, who is about to enter a new chapter in her life.

“To Yana, @alyanaasistio, Happy, happy birthday! Ate is so proud of the woman you’re becoming. From our childhood dreams of becoming actresses to building your dream restaurant, we’ve shared so many milestones together,” she expressed.

She added, “Now, as you step into a new chapter—soon to be Mrs. Mendoza—another beautiful dream is coming true: marrying the man you love and building the life and family you’ve always envisioned.”

Although Ynna has her own family, she assured her sister of her unwavering support.

“Even though we may live apart, our bond remains unbreakable. I’ll always be here, cheering you on and supporting you from afar. I’m so excited to see all that God has in store for your future. Keep the faith, stay focused—kaya mo ’yan, Yans! I love you so much. Happy, happy birthday!” she remarked.

In February this year, actress and celebrity chef Alyana Asistio announced her engagement to her longtime partner Raymond Mendoza.

“I always tell you that you’re the best decision I’ve ever made, and saying ‘yes’ to a lifetime with you would be the greatest answered prayer of my life. ❤️ I’m a fiancee! 💍,” she wrote in a post.

Nadia Montenegro recently attended the wake of the late movie icon and National Artist Nora Aunor. In an interview with ABS-CBN News, Nadia reminisced about working with the legendary actress at a young age.

"I'm one of the ones that were blessed na talagang at such a young age mga 12 or 13 ay nakatrabaho ko na si Ate Guy. I'm proud to say na nakadalawang movie kami sa Regal. And with that, naging way 'yon para maging friends kami ni Lot (Lotlot de Leon, Nora's daughter).”

“All our lives, naging friends kami 30-40 years, and siyempre malaking ano si Tita Guy doon kasi nakilala ko si Lot at naging parte ng industriya," Nadia said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.

Nadia is a longtime friend of Nora’s daughter, Lotlot De Leon.
