Now based in the United Kingdom, Bangs is a hands-on mom to her two daughters. She tied the knot with Filipino-British partner Lloyd Birchmore in 2016. Back in July 2024, Bangs Garcia officially became a British citizen.

When asked for parenting advice, especially for fellow mothers living abroad, Bangs highlighted the value of time management and self-care.

"I think you really should learn how to balance your time kasi I always tell moms never to neglect yourself, like love yourself. Hindi porket nanay ka na hindi mo na aalagaan ang sarili mo. I always tell people to do self-care, self-love, kasi it will be better to take care of everybody around you if you love yourself first," she said.

"Some moms feel like it's a selfish thing to love themselves, no don't believe in that. Kailangan mong mahalin ang sarili mo, alagaan mo talaga para mas madaling alagaan ang anak mo, ang asawa mo. Time managament is very important so kung sa tingin mo may lakad kayo kinabukasan maaga, so mag-prepare ka para makapag-makeup ka ng konti, para mag-ayos ka," she said.
