MANILA -- Actress Lovi Poe on Thursday paid tribute to the the country's Superstar Nora Aunor, who passed away at the age of 71.

In an Instagram post, the daughter of the late King of Action Fernando Poe Jr. said she considers Aunor a "true legend" and one of the kindest people she has ever met.

It was one of the greatest highlights of my career to have had the rare honor of working with the Superstar of the Philippines, Ms. Nora Aunor, in our film 'Thy Womb,'" she said. "She was not only an icon, but also one of the most humble, gracious, and kind human beings I've ever met."
