This Lenten season, get to know more about these ten Filipino celebrities who consistently use their platforms in professing their faith and inspiring their supporters to do the same.  


Jodi Sta. Maria

Kapamilya actress and animal welfare advocate Jodi Sta. Maria has been consistent in sharing Bible verses throughout the years. 

One Bible verse she shared was Matthew 11:28, reminding her followers that they are not alone in their battles.

Jodi has also been sharing inspiring life quotes that serve as a constant reminder for her followers. On April 7, she shared a quote which emphasized that the act of saying "no" does not make a person heartless.  


Cherry Pie Picache 

Resonating with her character "Marites" who was prayerful in the drama action series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo, veteran actress Cherry Pie Picache consistently shows her followers how it is like to live as a devout Catholic.  

On March 7, she shared a post by Her Catholic Life on Instagram, aiming to remind her fellow Catholic women to commemorate the Lenten season in a more simple and solemn manner.





On April 2, Cherry Pie attended the 50th year celebration of the Catholic Bishops Conference of the Philippines Episcopal Commission on Prison Pastoral Care (CBCP-ECPPC), sharing her active involvement in the church.

She started on Palm Sunday where she shared Psalm 118:26. For Holy Monday, she gave her followers Matthew 6:33. For Holy Tuesday, it was 2 Corinthians 5:7.
