Beyond her invaluable contribution to Original Pilipino Music (OPM), Pilita Corrales’ legacy continues through her talented family who have carved their own paths in the entertainment industry. The late Asia’s Queen of Songs not only built an iconic career but also raised a family that brings pride to her name.

Blessed with two children, loving grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, Pilita’s vibrant life is reflected in the next generations of her family. Here’s a closer look at her descendants who followed her footsteps in showbiz:

Jackie Lou Blanco

Pilita’s eldest daughter with Spanish businessman Gonzalo Blanco, Jackie Lou Blanco has made a name for herself as an actress. She starred in notable films such as Hihintayin Kita sa Langit (1991), Si Aida, Si Lorna, o Si Fe (1989), Misis Mo, Misis Ko (1988), and Palabra de Honor (1983).

She married actor Ricky Davao in 1989 and later separated after 22 years together. They have three children: Kenneth, Rikki Mae, and Arabella.

Following Pilita’s musical roots, Diego Gutierrez is making a name as a singer-songwriter. In March 2025, he was launched as a Star Magic artist under ABS-CBN.

He has released original songs like “On a Dream,” “Sino Na Tayo,” “Hanggang Sa Dulo,” “Huling Sayaw,” and “Sandali.”

In an interview with PUSH, he said, “Every time na nagsusulat ako ng kanta, I just try to be as authentic as possible and just try to write from the heart. Feeling ko if I do that more, meron talaga at merong makakarelate.”

Diego also expressed his desire to compose a song for Pilita, sharing, “May naiisip na ako ng gist ng song about the love that she gave us growing up. Not just kami na mga apo, but also sa mga anak niya, sa mga kapatid niya. She was just overflowing with love and she had so much to give na pagmamahal sa amin, and we're so thankful na nae-experience namin up to now.”

Ara Davao

A fresh face in the industry, Ara Davao impressed viewers with her debut in the Kapamilya hit FPJ’s Batang Quiapo. In 2021, she signed with ABS-CBN's Star Magic.

“Since I’m just starting, ang dami ko pang gustong i-explore like ang role ko (sa Batang Quiapo) is more demure, hindi siya masyadong lumabas so next time sana palaban na yung role ko. Ang daming endless possibilities na gusto ko iexplore,” Ara stated.

 Rikki Mae Davao

The second child of Jackie Lou and Ricky Davao, Rikki Mae also entered showbiz, venturing into acting and hosting. She previously appeared in a primetime series on the Kapuso network.
