Last year, Criza Taa starred in the ABS-CBN youth-oriented show Zoomers, alongside other kapamilya Gen Z stars. But prior to that, she was first known as "Ang Apo of the Eye of Quezon City” during her first stint as a Star Dreamer in the eighth season of Pinoy Big Brother in 2018. She returned as a housemate in PBB’s Gen 11 season last year.

Since entering the limelight via the reality show competition, Criza has also been seen in Kapamilya series like Kadenang Ginto and He’s Into Her. “After PBB, mostly, after natin gumawa ng mga series, movies, ganyan, I went into social media. So dun po talaga ako ngayon mas nag-fo-focus, sa social media. But of course, meron pa rin tayong movies. May upcoming movie ako,” she shared with PUSH ABS-CBN in an exclusive interview.

Since becoming a content creator, Criza admitted she has learned that there are always going to be two reactions to whatever she chooses to share online.

“Siyempre may pros and cons. Siyempre masaya ako kasi at the end of the day, nakaabang sila sa akin at yung mga pino-post ko, nag-e-enjoy sila sa kung ano yung brand ko, pero at the end of the day, nakakatakot rin. Kasi hindi naman all the time tama or parang may masasabi silang maganda sa'yo o may masasabi silang mali sa'yo. Nakakakaba but at the same time, parang natutunan ko na rin, naturuan ako ng that experience na mas maging careful on what I share online,” she admitted.

The 20-year-old Star Magic artist also shared one of the most misunderstood things about her that netizens say.

“Na maingay talaga ako. Di ba, nakakagulat? Actually, madaldal talaga ako pero you know, most of the days, madalas, lately ha, I find myself na mas tahimik lang. I find myself wanting to be calm, wanting to be in peace, yung ganun pag medyo tumatanda na. Tumatanda na? (laughs) Hindi pero siguro pag mas nag-mature na. Hindi na ako ganun kaingay,” she shared.

Counting herself lucky to attend the ABS-CBN Ball this year, Criza shared that she wants to maintain a positive image so she will be invited to succeeding red carpet events.

“At the end of the day, ABS-CBN Ball is parang culture na siya ng ABS-CBN. Ito yung naghahatid ng saya sa mga tao. Culture na siya ng mga Pilipino din na inaabangan yung mga looks ng mga artists so that’s what I’m looking forward to,” she added.

Last year, Criza shared with ABS-CBN just how happy she was to attend the Star Magical Prom 2024 with her date for that night, Harvey Bautista. “Kakaiba 'yung feeling and actually sobrang napagaan ni Harvey ang life ko this prom kasi grabe niya ako alalayan and grabe niya rin ako alagaan. So it's nice. Kakaibang experience siya. Kasi last time very independent ako sa prom. So it's nice to have someone na kasama mo lumakad and kasama mo para ma-experience ang prom.”
