Actor Andre Paras broke his silence on social media to defend his brother, Kobe Paras, against a netizen targeting him earlier this week. On his official Facebook account, he shared screenshots of the netizen’s post and aired his frustration.

This comes after rumors started circulating on social media that Kobe and Kapuso actress Kyline Alcantara have parted ways. Other netizens assumed that a third party was the cause of the couple’s breakup as they’ve spotted the model-athlete with another girl at a party.

This has been debunked by Andre as he revealed that his brother was just having fun at a club and nothing more. 

“Kobe is with his friends and he’s having fun. They are doing it in the right place and time. They are in a club. It’s legal to have fun and make noise there right,” he shared.

He added that a club is a place to have fun and dance with everyone and not to be quiet or be still in one place. He expressed his frustration with the netizen as they were dragging his brother’s name through the mud for no reason.

“Magtaka po kayo kapag nag club ang isang tao tapos nagbabasa lang sila ng libro doon o kaya pumunta doon para lang matulog. If you really cared about Kobe then you will not be doing this at all. I know what you’re trying to do. You’re trying to make my brother look like a bad person,” he added.

Andre then revealed that the girls that Kobe was with during the latter’s clubbing session were the girlfriends of his friends. He asserted that the netizen who uploaded the video on TikTok should’ve done more research instead of fueling the hate and rumors.

“Since magaling kayo mag stalk eh di dapat alam niyo yung mga kasama na babae dyan ay ang mga girlfriend ng mga friends ni kobe? Pero of course di mo sasabihin sa followers mo yan dahil gusto mo gumawa ng issue,” he wrote.

The celebrity brother maintained that what the netizen was doing was all for clout and using his brother’s name for views on their profile. He then advised the netizen to not take down the video as they’ll be only “tampering with evidence”–– hinting a possible legal action.

“Don’t even try deleting the videos you’ve made or even blocking me. You’ll just be tampering with evidence. I’m his kuya and I have the right to stand up for him against people like you who only care about making him look bad,” he ended.

Kobe and Kyline publicly announced their relationship last year to the delight of their fans. They have yet to issue an official statement about the status of their relationship as of this writing.
