Netizens have been buzzing over actor and Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition host Enchong Dee’s emotional throwback entry to the viral “Multo” trend on TikTok.

On his personal account, Enchong shared a series of photos featuring himself and longtime friend and former on-screen partner Erich Gonzales, spanning several years of their friendship.

“#throwback with my ‘day ❤️,” Enchong simply wrote in the caption.

The post quickly gained attention from fans and followers, with many expressing nostalgia and admiration for the duo’s enduring bond.

“Grabe magrelapse ang isang enchong dee😭😭,” a netizen commented.

Another one teased Enchong, saying, “UHM SIR MAMAYANG 10 PM PA ANG SCHED NG RELAPSE?!?!?!?”

A follower remarked, “si koyang siya na mismo gumawa ng edit kasi pati siya hindi maka-move on 😅.”

“😭💔 Sila Erich and Enchong talaga biggest what if ko sobrang lodi ko sila sana magka movie ulit sila kaso focus muna si Erich sa pagiging mom,” a fan of the two actors shared.

The “Multo” trend on TikTok originated from the OPM band Cup of Joe’s song “Multo” from their Silakbo album. The trend encourages users to reflect on things they regret or miss from the past, making Enchong’s post all the more poignant.

This isn’t the first time Enchong has shared content about his friendship with Erich. In past TikTok posts, he uploaded behind-the-scenes clips and on-screen moments from their previous projects.

Notably, on February 15, he posted a nostalgic video featuring bloopers and scenes from You Me Maybe, their last film together, which they also co-produced.

“A Gian and Gianna throwback 🫶🏻 #youmemaybe,” he captioned the video, referring to the characters they portrayed in the digital series.

The Blood Sisters.

In a previous interview, Erich emphasized that her bond with Enchong goes beyond the professional relationship.

“Siguro naman sa tagal naming magkasama, kumbaga bilang magka-partner kasi sa lahat ng 'yun, nandiyan kami para sa isa't isa. Hindi naman kami basta magka-trabaho, kahit papaano naman 'andun naman 'yung friendship namin. Hindi lang basta trabaho. Matibay ang pagkakaibigan namin,” Erich expressed.

Addressing the possibility of a romantic relationship between them, Erich clarified in an interview with Mega Magazine: “We both knew that our relationship can’t evolve past being more than friends. I consider him as my guy best friend; we can talk about anything.”

She further explained. “A good thing about best friends means you’ll never breakup, and that’s the way we want it to be. He’s family to me, and definitely a keeper.”

Currently, Erich is reportedly living a private life with her husband, businessman Mateo Lorenzo, whom she married in March 2022.

Enchong, meanwhile, is busy with upcoming projects, including the local adaptation of the Korean drama It’s Okay to Not Be Okay. He is also part of the hosting lineup for the 20th edition of the Kapamilya reality show Pinoy Big Brother.
