Rabin Angeles. Anna Cerezo, ABS-CBN News"Ang Mutya ng Section E" star Rabin Angeles shared he hopes to someday become a neurologist, revealing how his mother's unfulfilled dreams of becoming a doctor inspired his own.

"'Yung mom ko noong nag-graduate siya as nurse sabi ng dad niya, lolo ko, kapatid niya muna mag-aral. So di natuloy kahit gustong gusto niya mag-doctor. Eh kailangan niya na mag-work. So bata pa lang ako, sabi ko na, 'Ma, ako na tatapos,'" he said in an interview during his launch as the official ambassador for The Lab by Blanc Doux, in Quezon City, Friday.

Despite having to stop school after Grade 10 to pursue acting, Angeles never let go of his first love. "Hanggang Grade 10, tapos nag-stop ako para mag-artista— 'yun kasi first choice ko na gusto ko gawin," he explained.

According to the actor, he is trying to save up for medical school through his work in showbiz.

Aside from saving for medical school, Angeles shared that he's also helping support his mother, who has tirelessly raised him and his brothers on her own since his father passed away when he was just a toddler.
