Kapamilya star AC Bonifacio revealed that while her boyfriend initially felt “jealous” of her connection with fellow housemate Michael Sager during her Pinoy Big Brother: Celebrity Collab stint, their relationship is now “much stronger.”

According to the actress-singer, Bautista realized he was “over-acting” after they talked about the issue.

“As in OK Na OK kami. Nagulat ako when people go up to me— di ko alam naging issue sa labas. Me and Harvey are totally good, if anything, we have gotten stronger… The time apart and time not having communication made us stronger individually. Now we are back together, we are so much stronger,” she said in an interview held in Quezon City, Friday.

“The tags, the shipping, the comments, it can get to you.  When you are no able to communicate, iba ma-bebelieve. But he is OK, he realized after we talked about it ‘Sorry, ang OA ko pala.’ May factor nagselos. Ako din naman nagseselos, pero communication. Communication fixes everything,” she added.

Bonifacio emphasized she had always been clear about having a partner.  She also stressed she only saw Sager as a friend, explaining that, like her best friend Darren Espanto, it was easier to grow close to him since they were both from Vancouver, Canada.

“Like with Darren, walang malisya.  I clarified so many times I have Harvey. May jowa ako…. Me and Michael, I would tell him all the time, you are like Darren, my Canadian buddy. Iba kasi feeling if connected to home, I know the things I say— he won’t take it in a different way. He made me feel like home. We are both from Vancouver. Harvey understood that and we have been good since then,” she explained.

Bonifacio also clarified that she left the house with a good relationship with Bautista’s ex-girlfriend Bianca De Vera.

“It was just that conversation and then done. We got to spend two weeks together. I sleep beside her, she was the one I say good morning to first. Nag dedebrief pa kami everyday. May sarili kami debriefing, how our day went. How did we feel. Our humor is on the same level. she taught me how to cook. I would teach her moves. we got better,” she recalled.

“I am so glad we are able to fix things on the spot. I just wanted to fix things right away. I wanted to fix things right away. I wanted us to be OK because wala naman kami personal problem We just had common denominators who were saying things about us— which caused the ilang factor. I wanted to approach things right away and fixt it, to break the ice. So we can spend time with no walls,” she added.

According to Bonifacio she is hoping to spend time with de Vera when she steps out of the PBB house.

“We bonded so much, I told Harvey ‘pag labas ni Bianca mag-hangout tayo please.’ Sinabi ko din yun kay Bianca— I asked if OK Naman sila. She said ‘yeah let’s hang out.’ Para OK na lahat. if between the three of us we are OK, I think everyone should be too,” she said.

The former housemate also reminded the public not to be quick to judge, pointing out that what’s shown on screen is only a glimpse of what truly happens in the PBB house.

“There are moments not being shown talaga. So for me, I will wait for them to come out and say to me ng diretso,” Bonifacio admonished.

While the actress has no regrets about how she spent her time on the series, Bonifacio revealed that, if given the chance, she wouldn’t think twice about stepping back inside.
