Aiah Arceta of the OPM girl group BINI has spoken out on social media regarding rumors about her relationship status. 

Taking to her X (formerly Twitter) account, Aiah addressed speculations linking her to various individuals she has been seen with.

“I am aware of what has been happening lately, and honestly, it’s interesting to see how it has become such a big deal for some, along with the multiple theories circulating about it,” Aiah wrote.

Initially silent on the matter, Aiah noted how quickly rumors had escalated.

“It’s also fascinating to observe how quickly noise can grow and how many people can misunderstand so many things,” she added.

She also pointed out how almost anyone she spends time with ends up being linked to her which she finds unfortunate.

“I also notice that almost everyone I hang out with or surround myself with gets linked, no matter who they are whether it’s a friend, a superior, or even a relative which I find is unfortunate,” she continued.

While she usually ignores such speculation, Aiah decided to speak up this time to defend those close to her.

“Usually, I am just unbothered and let things be because I know what’s truly happening behind all the commotion. But this time, it pains me to see that the people who make me feel safe, calm, and normal, and those who contribute to my happiness are being ridiculed and made fun of online,” she stated.

Aiah came to the defense of her friends, emphasizing how much her friends have supported her and said they do not deserve the backlash.

 “My friends have been such a great help to me, especially lately, and I think they don’t deserve the hate,” she expressed.

Aiah reminded the public that there are always different sides to every story and urged everyone to be kind.

“There are so many sides and truths that people don’t see, and I just hope we can all be kind to one another because kindness is free, and we all need it,” she continued

She ended her statement with a plea for positivity, saying, “I hope and pray that all the hate gets suctioned out and is instead filled with nothing but love. Let’s all be loving and kinder to one another.”

Adding a lighthearted touch, Aiah joked that even her pet might get caught up in the same rumors.

“Also, sabi daw ni Honey baka sya naman na ma balita this time kase mahilig din naman syang manood ng mga aso na naglalaro hehe,” she quipped. “Haha anyways, nothing but love and no hate ♥️.”

Aiah’s statement came after rumors of her linking to Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player Caelan Tiongson.

The speculation began after she was spotted watching Game 4 of the Rain or Shine versus TNT match in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup on March 5. It was the second time she attended a game, fueling further speculation.

In a previous interview with One Sports, Caelan confirmed knowing Aiah through a mutual friend and had kind words for her.

“I met her through a mutual friend and she’s a great person, but I’m not gonna speak about her personal life anymore than that," Caelan said. 

“She’s a great person and that’s all I gotta say,” he added.

Caelen was also previously spotted watching the first stop of BINIverse World Tour at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan last February 15 together with fellow Rain or Shine player Felix Lemetti. In the same interview with One Sports, Caelan said that he is a BINI fan.
