Filipino-Australian singer and actress Ylona Garcia celebrated a milestone in her career, marking 10 years in the entertainment industry with a heartfelt message on social media.

On her Instagram page, Ylona looked back on her decade-long journey in the industry. "10 Years. 10 years of figuring out how to use the gifts God gave me. 10 years of survival, loss, discovery and growth. 10 years in the entertainment industry. 10 years to get to this point," she said.

The singer reflected on the dreams she set for herself early on and how she has turned them into reality.

"When I started my career, someone asked me to describe myself in the next 10 years. My answer? On stage. Performing. Worldwide tour," she recalled. "Now, a decade later, I’m grateful to say I made it happen. I’ve been on stage. I’ve performed. I’ve toured the world. And selfishly, I want more."

Beyond the highlights of her career, Ylona also acknowledged the challenges and personal struggles she has faced along the way.

"Over the years, I’ve been hurt by people I trusted—and in turn, I’ve hurt people who trusted me. I’ve learned. I’ve grown. And now, I want to dedicate my life to helping as many people + solving as many problems as possible," she shared.

As she embarked on a new chapter, Ylona outlined her aspirations for the years ahead.

She posted: "I want to learn how to build a company where people can fulfill their purpose and find balance between work, live and play.

Ylona Garcia began her entertainment career after becoming a housemate of Pinoy Big Brother: 737 in 2015.

She later starred in several projects under ABS-CBN, solidifying her presence in the Philippine entertainment industry.

In February 2021, Ylona took a major step in her music career by signing with 88rising, a US media and music company known for promoting Asian artists on the global stage.
