In her post, Sharon couldn’t help but get emotional upon losing their lovable pot-bellied big. She wrote, “Our hearts are crying…😪😪😪 Our favorite pig in our farm, our Bacon, suddenly passed away. She just refused to wake up that morning, having refused food for a couple of days before then. We love you, our baby girl… Thank you for the love and happiness you gave all of us - even your barkada, our farm dogs (because you forgot you were a pig the moment the piggies ostracized you but the dogs were kind - that you even learned how to 'bark' like them!) We will always remember you and will always love you."

She added, "On March 1, 2025, Bacon our farm mascot breathed her last. She was 13 years old. Run free in Pig Heaven, Bacon!”

It was in 2014 when Sharon first introduced Bacon to her social media followers with a post on her Facebook page and shared how he was the runt of the litter which was why he needed to be bottle-fed by the caretaker at their farm.

Sharon wrote, “This is Bacon, our pet pig.

Hahaha!”
