MANILA — Megastar Sharon Cuneta is in tip top shape as she faced the media for the TV airing of the drama series “Saving Grace: The Untold Story”. 

The primetime TV version of the series will showcase unaired scenes and clips from the Prime Video streaming. Compared to the two-episodes-in-a-week drop with Prime Video, the free TV version will be a nightly habit. 

Speaking to ABS-CBN News, Sharon recalled how good Zia, the child actress who played Grace, was on and off camera. 

"Napakalambing nung bata. Napaka-clingy,” Cuneta said. “Siya talaga yung after a scene, yayakap agad yan kakandong, parang mga anak mo nung maliit pa. Magandang paggagabay ng magulang niya sa kanya.”

From the moment Zia stepped into the studio during their promo shoot, Sharon knew that she and the rest of the cast would play godfathers and godmothers to Zia in showbiz. 

”Kami unang nakasama, tapos nakita namin yung pinuhunang emotions niya sabi nga namin, hindi namin alam kung saan niya dinudukot, kasi all the nuances are all hers. Magaling talaga siya to begin with."

Wearing an off-shoulder top, Sharon was proudly showing off her collarbone and sharing how she lost a lot of weight. She said she wanted a little bit more, but she’s very happy that she gets to buy the clothes again the she like, off the rack. 

Aside from “Saving Grace”, Sharon is revamping her YouTube channel with new elements and gimmicks to entice more viewers. As for movie projects soon, Sharon wishes to work with several actors.

"Sa boys si Piolo, kasi dati may binring-up sa akin na idea sina Deo, Tita Cory or sabay, may iba pang nakalinya. And I'd love to work with Judy Ann.”

When asked, if is it possible to have a Sharon-Piolo-Juday movie? “Yun nga di ba? Pero hindi na pwedeng triangle,” she replied. 

“At this stage, hindi na ko sa karera. Tapos na ako doon. At this age, you have more freedom and you can be choosy,” says Mega. She added, she wants to explore more projects that will challenge her and bring new wind to her acting prowess, but working with people that she’s comfortable with takes the front row. 

“Parang mas mahalaga sa akin na makatrabaho ko yung mga kaibigan ko na matagal ko nang kilala at yung parang masaya pumunta sa set.”
