Mavy Legaspi penned a heartfelt message in an Instagram story for his partner Ashley Ortega who just ended her stint at the Pinoy Big Brother Celebrity Collab Edition. 

Sharing their couple photo in his story, the PBB host expressed pride in his girlfriend’s journey inside the Big Brother house.  

“So proud of you @ashleyortega,” he said. “I am so happy the people got to know you better... and they love you. Welcome back to the outside world honey bunny!” 

He added, “a girl like you? so lovable.” 

On the same night, Ashley ranked third on X’s trending topics.  

In a separate Instagram story, the Sparkle artist posted a screenshot of it and wrote, “Enough said. Good night world, good night, Philippines.” 

Upon Ashley’s exit on Sunday evening, March 29, she was welcomed by Mavy’s tight hug. 

Ashley and Mavy spent a short time together inside the Big Brother house, where the Kapuso actor served as a house guest. 

As Mavy exited the house, his girlfriend said his presence helped her in the adjustment process.

“I’m so happy and so grateful and so lucky na nakasama ko siya here sa loob ng house,” she said. “First few days ko dito siyempre may mga adjustments na kailangan gawin. I felt more comfortable because I know he’s here. I know he’s around. Masakit na umalis talaga siya dito.” 

On February, Ashley confirmed her relationship with the actor-host in an interview with Boy Abunda, following speculations that surfaced online after they were spotted together in Cebu.  

According to Ashley, she already knew Mavy for several years, but she stressed that they only got closer after he and actress Kyline Alcantara broke up.  

“There was this one night kasama mga friends namin–– dun ko siya nakilala. Then, nagtutuloy na. He asked me out if we can have lunch or dinner together just to get to know more about each other and then nagtuloy-tuloy na,” she recalled.  

In an interview, Ashley also addressed the issue of their age gap as a couple, given that Mavy is three years younger than her.  

"I thought before hindi niya ma-match 'yung maturity ko,” she said. “Kasi ano eh, he's younger than me. He's three years younger than me. Parang in our relationship, parang ako nga 'yung pabebe girl. He takes care of me.”
