Pinoy Big Brother (PBB) Gen 11 housemates Sofia ‘Fyang’ Smith and JM Ibarra candidly addressed questions about their relationship after fans noticed their sweet moments during a recent tour together.

During the Star Magic Spotlight Press Conference, the former PBB housemates shared their thoughts about their bond, emphasizing their mutual respect and comfort with each other.

“Ang masasabi ko po ngayon ay pinapahalagahan po namin yung isa’t isa at masaya po kami tuwing magkasama po kami, ‘yun lang po,” Fyang answered.

JM echoed her sentiment, stating, “As long as may pagpapahalaga, as long as may respeto kami sa isa’t isa, sapat na ho samin ‘yun ngayon. Sa ngayon.”

He also emphasized that no one could interfere with the strong connection they have built.

Fyang elaborated on their dynamic, explaining how their friendship naturally blossomed inside the PBB house.

“Masaya po kami kapag magkasama, may work man o wala. Masaya po kami and siguro the way na magkasama po kami every day, siguro doon pa lang naman po ‘yon,” she said. “Komportable po kami sa isa’t isa.”

She further shared that their bond was evident during their time in Bahay ni Kuya, where they grew closer through conversations and playful exchanges.

“Kita naman po sa loob pa lang ng Bahay ni Kuya. Doon kami nagstart maging comfortable sa isa’t isa. The way kami na magbardagulan, mag-usap sa Bahay ni Kuya, siguro doon lahat nagstart ang pagiging komportable ko po sa kanya at nadala ko po ‘yon hanggang sa paglabas ng bahay and nagtutuloy-tuloy naman po,” she added.

Fyang noted that she sees no issue in maintaining her closeness with JM, saying, “Wala naman din naman po akong nakikita na any problem para hindi ako maging komportable sa kanya.”

When asked if JM would officially court Fyang in the future, both maintained that their current priority is their careers but left possibilities open.

“Siguro sa ngayon focus talaga kami sa trabaho, sa career ganoon. Naniniwala naman ako darating ako sa puntong ‘yon,” JM said.

Fyang briefly responded, “Okay, okay.”

In a previous interview with ABS-CBN News, JM expressed his desire to strengthen his bond with Fyang even outside the PBB house.

“Oo naman, looking forward din naman ako doon. Gaya ng sabi ko, ayoko tapusin ang mga bagay na hindi naman ako satisfied. At siyempre, 'yung sa part na 'to, ayoko tapusin," he shared, hinting at the potential for their relationship to grow.

JM also highlighted how their connection deepened after their popular PBB season.

“Siguro mas closer siya sa puso ko ngayon compared sa pinagsamahan namin sa 'PBB.' Mas kilala namin ang isa't isa ngayon, at mas malapit na din kami sa mga pamilya namin," he added.
