BLACKPINK's Lisa has made history as she became the first K-Pop artist to perform at the Oscars.

Lisa took center stage at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood during the 97th Academy Awards, where she performed "Live and Let Die" by Wings as part of the Oscars' James Bond tribute performance.

Aside from Lisa, joining the tribute performance was US rapper and singer Doja Cat who performed "Diamonds Are Forever" by Dame Shirley Bassey and British singer-songwriter Raye who performed Adele’s "Skyfall."

The Substance star Margaret Qualley also participated in the tribute, showcasing a dance routine set to the iconic 007 theme tune.

Lisa recently collaborated with Doja Cat and Raye for her single "Born Again" which was released on February 7. The K-Pop star released her first debut solo album ALTER EGO on February 28.

"Celebrating ALTER EGO🥂 It's been a long and crazy ride to get here and I could not have done it without you all. Thank you RCA, LLOUD, and all the producers/writers/engineers who spent sleepless nights in the studio to make this happen. Love you all 🫶🏻," Lisa posted on Instagram during the release day of the album.

In 2024, Lisa released three singles including "Rockstar," "New Woman," and "Moonlit Floor (Kiss Me)" from the record.

The BLACKPINK member won the Best K-Pop award for "Rockstar" at the VMAs last year. In February last year, Lisa unveiled the launch of her own label, LLOUD.

"Introducing LLOUD, a platform to showcase my vision in music and entertainment. Join me on this exciting journey to push through new boundaries together," she said upon the launch of her agency.

On the website of the agency, it reads: "At LLOUD, our passion as an artist management company is to create experiences that transcend genres and connect generations. Our core lies in relentless innovation and a commitment to authenticity. We’re not just pushing boundaries; we’re redefining them, crafting chart-topping and genre-defying music."
