Gerald had an intimate celebration, sharing highlights from the event on his social media.

“36!! I don’t really party, but this party is all about Gratitude 💯 Thank you for all the Love & Greetings Everyone ❤️ 36 years of wins, losses, lessons, and blessings keep going,” the actor wrote.

Among those spotted at the celebration were his father, Gerald Anderson Sr.; girlfriend, Julia Barretto; her siblings, Dani and Leon Barretto; Star Magic head Laurenti Dyogi; and celebrity friends EA Guzman, Rayver Cruz, and Rodjun Cruz.

Julia also recently celebrated her birthday, and the couple marked the occasion with a special birthday ride together.

“Birthday Ride with the Birthday Girl ❤️ Happy Birthday Mi bebé ❤️,” Gerald greeted Julia.

He also shared with PUSH ABS-CBN his heartfelt birthday wishes for Julia, saying, “Ang wish ko always kay Julia more than anything alam kong (busy) siya pero good health talaga, kasi me I’m getting older, and everyone in our family is getting older, and alam natin na mahirap magkasakit talaga.”

“Alam kong cliche iyon, but when you get older, lalo na kayo diyan mga kabataan, maiintindihan niyo ‘yon. Good health talaga. Good health,” he added.

Gerald is preparing for his comeback television series, Sins of the Father, under JRB Creative Productions. He will star alongside Jessy Mendiola, JC de Vera, Shaina Magdayao, Joko Diaz, RK Bagatsing, Seth Fedelin, Francine Diaz, Soliman Cruz, Nico Antonio, Jerald Napoles, LA Santos, and Tirso Cruz III.

The series will be directed by FM Reyes and Bjoy Balagtas.

“I operate from the place of gratitude, and I’m very grateful that I’m part of this team, the production with the directors,” Gerald said.

He also teased the socially relevant storyline of the series, sharing, “It’s a story that will shed awareness, because nangyayari talaga ito every day. Sabi ko nga kanina, at least may isang segment sa TV Patrol o sa TV5 (news) or sa ibang news channels about yung storyline namin.”

Before fully diving into his new project, Gerald is looking forward to attending the upcoming ABS-CBN Ball in April with Julia. He expressed excitement about mingling with fellow stars, production teams, and industry colleagues.

“I’m excited. Nakapag-fitting na ako no’ng isang araw, so It’s always nice. It’s always exciting kapag may ganun, kasi, siyempre may mag ibang artista. May ibang kasama na din sa Star Magic yung mga handlers, RMs. Yung ibang production ibang directors ibang boses natin. That’s the only night na talagang lahat magkakasama, so it’s always exciting,” he experienced.
